About Heather Im

 

 

Born in South Korea, Heather H. Im is academically and professionally trained in fashion design and cultural anthropology with focus on Native American philosophy and visual arts. 

Her work primarily depicts women of green complexions set in a world that is sometimes fractured, sometimes distorted, and sometimes enhanced. Through such imageries, she delves into the lost, severed, and recreated connections to our Indigeneity, or our primal identity and psyche.

She currently resides and paints in Jersey City, NJ.
